WORLD MARCH FOR PEACE AND NONVIOLENCE
To avoid a future nuclear catastrophe we must surpass violence today, demanding:
• nuclear disarmament at a global level;
• the immediate withdrawal of invading troops from occupied territories;
• the progressive and proportional reduction of conventional weapons;
• the signing of non-aggression treaties between countries;
• the renunciation by governments of the use of war as a means to resolve conflicts.

The NMD project of the United States – their national missile
defense system, is a very complex project which involves the production
of new weapons, and the installation of US military bases in different
parts of the planet. In particular, in Europe, the first step is the
installation of a radar system in the Czech Republic, as well as a base
for interceptor missiles in Poland.
This plan has divided Europe, which at the moment is not able
to give a united, coherent and nonviolent response to the United
States’ aggressive policies.
